This Art Deco table lamp features a classic "flying saucer" shade in a soft mint green, balanced by a fluted metal column and a solid circular base. The design is a notable example of 1930s industrial lighting, often attributed to the Keystone Manufacturing Co. or similar makers of the period. The piece has been fully re-wired with a period-appropriate, cloth-covered twisted cord that preserves its vintage look.
During restoration, the original paint on the stem and base was found to be too damaged to fully preserve. Rather than a standard repaint, the piece was carefully refinished to create a unique industrial-steampunk aesthetic. This process retained hints of the original green color while exposing the raw metal underneath, giving the lamp a rugged, lived-in character that highlights its mechanical roots. The result is a one-of-a-kind statement piece that honors its history while offering a refreshed, modern industrial feel.
