This 1940s Art Deco desk lamp features a classic "flying saucer" design that was a hallmark of the American Machine Age. Often attributed to designers like Leroy C. Doane or manufacturers such as the Faries Manufacturing Company, this model is finished in a deep, original Normandy Bronze patina. The stepped base provides excellent stability and leads into a distinctive fluted central column. A standout feature of this particular executive model is the integrated, swiveling pen holder on the base. Note, the pen holder is probably decorative than functional.

The lamp has been re-wired using a period-appropriate, brown cloth-covered cord for authenticity. It remains in its original vintage condition, showing a natural aged character.
